5/6/2023 0 Comments Wow ascension![]() ![]() This battle is unlocked once you complete the priot difficulties and also upgrade your Path of Ascension to Tier 3. Once you beat her for the first time on this difficulty, congratulations! You've now earned: Blueprint: Phial of Serenity. If you time and direct these hits well enough, you should be able to drop her by the time she uses her next spear rain. Face her and cast Ascendant Strike, cast and recast Leap of Faith the instant you land, and do so until the ascended power-up goes away. Once that cycle finishes, use it, then spam her with all of your abilities. Keep cycling these steps, breaking spear tethers, and avoiding spear rain.īy Kalisthene's first spear rain, you should have just enough energy to use your Archon's Blessing but wait to use it until all the large circles from her rain go away. Use your Keen Insight to help return some damage, as well. The best time to use the shield is right after you break a tether and the only time you should be using Leap of Faith is to break a tether. You'll open by first casting Keen Insight on yourself and then hitting Kalisthene with Ascendant Strike.Ĭontinue to fight hand-to-hand while using these abilities and healing when available. Luckily, the tether is easier to break with Kleia's Leap of Faith. This gives her more HP and Damage than in the Courage fight. ![]() Suggested Charms: None should be needed but Charm of Persistence and Charm of Fortitude can help greatly with your overall survivability.ĭue to an influx in anima, Kalisthene's memory has been strengthened. I've opted in to include a strategy using Kleia which is as follows. You may use the Courage strategy with Pelagos for this fight. This means Kalisthene, Echthra, Alderyn and Myn'ir, Nuuminuuru, Craven Corinth, and Splinterbark Nightmare. ![]() To unlock this battle you must first defeat the first 6 memories on the Courage tier of difficulty. Once you beat her for the first time with Pelagos, congratulations! You've now earned: Blueprint: Deep Echo Trident and will move on to unlock the next fighter. Once you see them stop spawning, hit her with a full Test of Faith and go back into the rotation. You can outrun these circles easily just by moving in a straight line in one direction and not zig-zagging. Occasionally, Kalisthene will flying into the air and begin raining down spears. This will slow your speed a great deal but using your Herald's Footpads will break the shackle. This shackle will slowly work to pull you and and if you end up within the ground circle, you take damage over time. She will cast her spear bind which will throw a spear onto a target point and link a shackle to you. ![]() You may pick the haste buff to build distance quicker, the spell CD time reduction for faster casting, or the shield buff to save you from taking as much damage.Īs the title implies, bind Kalisthene as much as you can and maintain distance. You may also cast Confront Memories and use any of the buffs that best suit your style. Build a bit of distance from her and repeat. Remember: your first ability is a channel spell and moving while casting it will stop the ability, losing you DPS and wasting a cooldown. To begin, channel your Test of Faith at max distance then use Aspirant's Bindings to bind her in place. This will then severely limit your movement. If you do not break this tether and are caught by an additional tether, they will pull you in quicker. She also casts a binding spear which will tether to you and slowly try and pull you in. Kalisthene will attack via melee, so you'll want to keep as much distance as possible. Suggested Charms: None available yet/none needed for revisit If you've just unlocked the Path of Ascension trials then Kalisthene will be your first fight and you will be given Pelagos as the initial soulbind combatant. This will be a direct walkthrough on preparation and strategies for defeating Kalisthene on various difficulties and will be updated as more content is released/beaten. ![]()
